San Tan Valley, Arizona
Junk removal in San Tan Valley. Loaded, hauled, gone.
In San Tan Valley, trash service comes from private haulers as far as the official sources show: the Town of San Tan Valley's Community Resources page lists a private company as the most common local hauler and notes that some HOAs contract separately. When something is too big for the cart, our junk removal service loads and hauls furniture, appliances, yard waste and full clean-outs from homes in the area. Text or call (602) 486-2331 with your address and we will check that it is in our service area.

Clearing out a San Tan Valley home: what to know.
What tends to matter when the junk is in San Tan Valley, from the city’s own rules and the way its neighborhoods are built.
Hauler or HOA sets the rules
The Town of San Tan Valley's Community Resources page names a private company as the most common local hauler, says some HOAs contract separately and notes that providers can vary by neighborhood and build date. Pinal County's 2023 parks plan describes the area's growth as new residential subdivisions, with neighborhood parks run by HOAs. What goes out at the curb depends on your own account or your HOA's contract, so check its bulk terms before staging a large pile.
County-listed sites are private
Pinal County says the landfills and transfer stations it lists are private businesses, not county owned, that none accept hazardous materials, and that rules differ by site; its list includes facilities in Florence and Apache Junction. Calling a facility before a self-haul trip avoids a wasted drive with a load it will refuse.
Metal appliances go to Florence
Pinal County's Material Recovery Center at 12725 E. Adamsville Road west of Florence takes white appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers and microwaves, but not plastic ones, and is open Tuesday through Thursday. From most of the San Tan Valley area that is a drive toward Florence, so it pays to bundle the trip.
Household chemicals go to Coolidge
Pinal County directs household hazardous waste to Arcwood Environmental in Coolidge, open Fridays only, and charges for it by the pound. Paint, oil and pesticides turned up in a garage clean-out should be set aside rather than mixed into a haul load.
County cleanups exclude contractor waste
Pinal County's April 24 to 25, 2026 San Tan Valley Cleanup Event at the San Tan maintenance yard took furniture, appliances and home improvement debris from residents but refused commercial waste, including contractor and business debris, and asked residents to stay in their vehicles while staff unloaded. Watch Pinal County's calendar to see whether another event is scheduled.
Town and county roles shifting
When the Pinal County Board of Supervisors approved San Tan Valley's incorporation on September 17, 2025, the County said it would keep providing services through June 30, 2026. We found no Town page describing a Town trash or bulk program since then, so check with your hauler or HOA rather than assuming anything has changed.

From a customer
I used Jaime and his crew for the final clean up after an estate sale at my mother's home in Ahwatukee. They removed a hot tub as well as all remaining items in the home. The place was left cleaner than it had been before the sale. They thought of everything and had all the equipment needed on site. The estate agent said it was the best clean up job she had ever seen!
San Tan Valley questions
Something else? Call or text (602) 486-2331.
Does the Town of San Tan Valley pick up bulk trash?
Not that we could find. As of October 14, 2026, the Town of San Tan Valley's own site lists a private hauler for trash and recycling and describes no Town bulk program, and Pinal County Environmental Health says it does not provide collection. Ask your hauler or HOA about bulk terms, or call or text (602) 486-2331 to confirm we can reach your address.
Does it matter whether I live inside the new town limits?
For trash, we found no difference in the official sources: the Town's page lists a private hauler, and Pinal County Environmental Health tells residents to use an approved hauler or a landfill or transfer station. Pinal County said it would provide services to the new Town through June 30, 2026, and the Town now runs its own website and permit portal, so check which government covers your address for permits and other local rules.
Where can an old refrigerator go in the San Tan Valley area?
Pinal County's Material Recovery Center west of Florence takes refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers and microwaves, as long as they are not plastic, Tuesday through Thursday. If you would rather not haul it yourself, call or text us to confirm we cover your address.
